kaleidoscope

A little while back one of my best friends chey took me out for my 18th. It was such a lovely day and I wish we didn't live in different states so we could hang out all the time as I miss her so.

 ... I also just completed my first week of proper official university. Feels pretty good so far. Finding my way around the new campus fairly easily which is always nice. This semester I have Creative Industries, Modernism, Marketing and Global Business. Sadly the abbreviation used for International Business, a term that has been used rather frequently, is 'IB'. I thought I'd done away with it at the end of 2010 and would never have to hear or use the word again. I was wrong. 

But that's just silliness. 

At the very early outset my favourite subjects, surprisingly, are Modernism and Global Business. I wouldn't have predicted that. Also we are required to read an exorbitant amount when compared to high school standards. This makes me happy. As long as I keep up with it all for the rest of the semester I think I will like uni a lot. It feels like... I'm learning more? ... I don't know. It's definitely a faster pace. I'm kind of glad though that I haven't got a new job just now, I can only adjust to so many new things at once. That is.... one, apparently. Well it's one pretty big thing ... so yeah. 

Well if anything the first week was reassuring. At this stage I'm quite happy with the decisions I made as far as courses go. Lets hope it stays that way. 

What else..... it's my sisters 16th in, what,  three days. Wow that date crept up on me. For her sake I need to hurry up and get my driving hours up. I only have a year left. That's a pretty stressful thought. One of those things that's always in the back of your mind eating away. 

I wish I had something more interesting to talk about right now but it's late and I was quite sick today :( so I'm tired... er than usual. And now my eyes are playing tricks on me and my front door has turned into a revolving door. Better lay off the drugs then... or go to sleep. Sleep it is.
